Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all the Mitch Kelly Fans!!! I really appreciate all of your comments and there is complete truth about how we all miss Mitch and that the morning show is just not the same. I was thinking and got a little silly that we could all band together and get sponsors and have our own radio station with Mitch of course in charge and the number 1 disc jokey/manager!!!! Do you think Steve Wynn or Brian Greenspun would sponsor/invest in the new radio station idea? Maybe we could offer Mark Stevens and Stunt Runt, Bob Bishop a job too!!! We could call it The Newest Country instead of New Country!!!! I bet then that the birthday breakfast that we would sponsor would be packed!!! Happy 2008 ---great things are yet to come for Mitch Kelly!

PS ---just for fun and laughs I have a great website for all of you to visit its:

I too wanted to express my disgusted with KWNR and the fact that Mitch is no longer on the air. I have listened to KWNR since the early 90’s and Mitch has been apart of my weekday mornings since he came on the air. Mitch is a genuine person; he made each listener feel like a friend not a statistic. I have not listened to KWNR since Mitch has been gone. I don’t think Natalie is experienced enough to attempt to fill Mitch’s shoes nor does Mark have the talent to carry Natalie and him both. I can not stand the howling and DJ’s on Coyote so I guess I’ll have to find a country station on the web to listen to. I don’t think that they realize that local markets are no longer forced to listen to what’s provided we can listen to anything anywhere on the web.

Mitch,

Hope you realize the impact that you had on so many people. I wish the best for you , Shannon and Maverick Please keep us informed on what your doing and where your going.

Your Friend,

KFrable

I just want Mitch to know how much he is missed. I was a faithful listener to KWNR, but not anymore. The mornings are just not the same. I used to laugh as I drove to work, but now I just change the channel when music is not playing. I'd get out of my car and hurry to my computer to turn on the internet radio. I love Mark, but he just can't carry the show. I'm sure Natalie is a nice person, but she doesn't have the personality that Mitch did. I participate in radio ratings and I have made my opinion about the morning show known. I used to rave about Mark and Mitch, now I tell them that I change the station. I've even jumped to 100.5 in the mornings because the KWNR show is boring. MITCH, YOU ARE MISSED. Please let us know if you sign with a different station. I will listen!

I'm so happy I found this site. I wrote the station manager to express my displeasure and (as expected) did not receive a reply.

I'm not crazy about Coyote Country, but that's the country station I listen to now.

I'm also listening to Brooks during the day via internet from her station in San Diego.

KWNR knows nothing of the true country spirit.

I miss Mitch too. KWNR really pisssed me off with that move so I've switched to Coyote...

I glad you established this site. The mystery of Mitch's disappearance has bothered me. The stattion showed no class. At least they could have made an announcement to the Loyal Fans. Guess what, the new personalities just can't carry any weight. Mitch and the old gang had some personaoises.lity. Long for the days of Friday morning toaster songs and Rodeos. Hopefully, Mitch will surface again soon. The Coyote doesn't match up, but I can't support clear channel. Yep, there is always the web with plenty of changes.

I am very upset with KWNR for letting Mitch go and also for all of the emails several people have sent inquiring and with NO responses. Not very professional. I enjoy Mark in the morning but although Natalie I'm sure is a very nice person, she is young and it's just not as good. Like a bubble gum country show now. I am also very tired of hearing of her personal problems with her parents. Enough is enough! I'm sorry for what she is going through, it's not easy. I will hopefully find Mitch on another station and that's where you'll find me.

I just want everyone to know that Mitch is still being talked about and MISSED!! I was at the Honky-Tonk Tailgate Party last night and people in our area were talking about Mitch and how much we miss him and Brooks. What fools the management at KWNR are for letting both of them go.

I heard Mitch doing the traffic on The Coyote this afternoon. Let's hope he's "served his time," (off the air due to contract compete clauses - eventhough they fired him.) and he'll be doing music again soon.
